Jessica Roisin Dunn
Jessica Roisin Dunn is an international dressage rider representing Ireland, with a career built on developing horses through the levels and competing at the highest level of the sport.
Growing up immersed in eventing, working hunter classes and Pony Club, Jessica's equestrian journey took an unexpected turn at the age of 13 when an injury to her event horse led her to focus on dressage. What began as a change of direction quickly became a lifelong passion.
At just 14, Jessica partnered with a talented but quirky mare that she trained herself from Preliminary level through to Prix St. Georges. Together they progressed onto the international stage, competing across Europe as part of the Junior ranks and laying the foundations for a career defined by patience, horsemanship and producing horses for elite competition.
Jessica's early success included representing her nation at the 2009 Youth Olympic Games in Sydney, where she helped secure Team Gold and claimed Individual Bronze, marking the beginning of an impressive international career.
Committed to continually developing her knowledge and riding, Jessica has worked alongside some of the sport's most respected names across both dressage and eventing, including spending almost four years training with renowned German dressage trainer Wolfram Wittig. Since returning to the UK, she has dedicated much of her career to producing talented young horses, carefully guiding them through the levels towards Grand Prix.
In 2025, Jessica began an exciting new chapter by representing Ireland internationally. Her continued dedication and performances have since earned her selection to represent Ireland at the FEI World Championships in Aachen, a milestone that reflects years of commitment to developing both horses and her own career on the international stage.
Today, Jessica combines elite-level competition with producing horses, coaching and working with owners to maximise each horse's potential. Known for her sympathetic approach, attention to detail and unwavering commitment to horsemanship, she continues to establish herself as one of Ireland's leading dressage athletes.
