Gemma Stevens

Gemma grew up with horses and has a VERY competitive streak.

Having won the UK under 17 National Dressage title when she was just 8 years old, she has since gone on to represent Team GB in Eventing at Junior, Young Rider and Senior levels and has proven herself within each category.

In 2016, Gemma competed at the Rio Olympics and was part of the Gold medal winning Team at the World Games in Tryon in 2018. She has also represented her country at 2 European Championships in 2015 (Blair) and 2017 (Strzegom).

She has competed numerous times at 5 star level with great success, racking up 8 top 10 placings to date, completing 5 consecutive Badminton’s with Arctic Soul, and receiving an Armada dish for 5 Badminton completions.

Gemma is also one of only a few to win the Event Rider Masters Series (2017) and has been U25 National Champion and UK National Champion.

Alongside her great success in Eventing, Gemma is also a keen show jumper and is seen out on the circuit regularly. Recently, she has made the step up to competing at 1.40m level and has competed Internationally with success. Although her true passion still lies with Eventing, she plans to develop her show jumping and ultimately compete at the top level in both disciplines.

Gemma is well-known and well-liked on the circuit, with a rapidly growing following on social media with 53,000 followers on Facebook and 35,000 on Instagram. She uses these platforms to engage with her fans and to support her many sponsors and supporters.

2023 saw Gemma take a fantastic 7th at Badminton International 5* on Jalapeno. She followed this great result up with a 14th in her 2024 Badminton Campaign aboard Chilli Knight, a poignant moment for Gemma, of which 2024 was her 10th Badminton appearance. Badminton kicked off a great 2024 for Gemma who took the JCL Insurance Eventing Grand Prix win at Bolesworth International in June riding Johan-Some.

Gemma recently took the win at Hartpury International in the prestigious CCI2* on Cooley Couture and completed a fantastically successful 2024 with a win and subsequent World Champion title at the 2024 Le Lion d’Angers Young Horse Championships.
